The MSRA StarTrack Seminar brings together StarTrack Scholars, MSRA host researchers, and members of the broader Microsoft Research Asia community for academic exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue. It provides a platform for participants to share emerging research perspectives, build meaningful connections, and strengthen continued engagement between MSRA and the academic community.
The 2026 MSRA StarTrack Seminar will be held onsite on August 12, 2026, at Microsoft Research Asia in Beijing. This year’s seminar will feature an invited MSRA research talk on Agentic Media and two curated Idea Sparks Panels, bringing together perspectives across multimodal intelligence, embodied AI, agentic systems, and reliable AI.
- Idea Sparks Panel I – Reliable Agentic AI for Complex Tasks
- Idea Sparks Panel II – Understanding, Generating, and Interacting with Complex Worlds
This seminar is designed as an open platform for interdisciplinary dialogue between StarTrack Scholars and the broader MSRA research community. Through in-depth topic panels, focused discussions, and informal exchanges, we hope to spark fresh thinking, uncover shared interests, and seed future collaborations across research domains.
Let us come together to spark ideas, advance frontiers, and shape the future — together.
