Where Language Meets the World: Microsoft Translator Hub
- Kristin Tolle, Microsoft; Lori Stone, Microsoft
Microsoft Translator Hub empowers businesses and communities to build, train, and deploy customized automatic language translation systems—bringing better and specialized translation quality to established languages, as well as the many languages of the world that are not yet supported by major translation providers. Microsoft’s Translator Hub can be used to preserve language — and through it communities and culture — for generations to come. Microsoft Research Connections conducted workshops using Microsoft Translator Hub with the Hmong community in Fresno and with Nepalese students at Kathmandu University in Nepal.
