    Microsoft Certified Refurbished devices have no scratches or dents as they have been professionally inspected, repaired, and tested by Microsoft's expert staff.  This includes a thorough inspection for external damage, optical sensor and audio testing, Wi-Fi testing, reloading of the Windows operating system and the latest software updates, and a final visual inspection and repackaged in a Microsoft Certified Refurbished box with all standard accessories and manuals. 

  • The return policy for refurbished devices is the same as for new devices. If you are not completely satisfied with a device, you can return your order within 60 days of receipt of your original purchase for Surface devices or within 30 days for XBOX devices for a full refund or a replacement (if one is available) for free.     Note: We recommend that you save and back up all your data and perform our Windows 10 data wiping feature to remove all personal data before returning your item.

  • All Microsoft Certified Refurbished Devices come with a one-year manufacturer’s limited hardware warranty*  ​ 

    ​ During the warranty period, if a defect arises in the Device, and you follow the instructions for returning the Device, we will at our option, to the extent permitted by law, either (i) repair the Device using either new or refurbished parts, (ii) replace the Device with a refurbished Device that is equivalent to the Device to be replaced, or (iii) refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the Device.  ​

    For extended coverage after the manufacturer’s warranty expires, you have the option to purchase a Microsoft Complete protection plan within 45 days of device purchase. Microsoft Complete protection plans can be purchased for a period of 2, 3 or 4 years.  ​
